IT'S A GIRL

Today for Christmas I found out that I am having a girl!!! After three boys in a row, it will be such a change! I am so excited! Joshua has been so cute. He felt her for the first time yesterday, so the whole thing seems more real now. Bryce has been saying it's a girl for awhile because I have been so emotional. One second I'm really mean, then I'm crying, then I'm happy. So, I guess he will get to see what it's like to live with 2 girls!! (I don't count the dog...Roxy). We are all so excited!

Our Trip to Maine!

We went to Maine Sept 22, 2008 - Oct 2, 2008 to visit Bryce's brother Trent and his family. It was so much fun! Getting there and back was...interesting. Flying with 3 little boys across country is hard, but much quicker then driving! It was fun to see where they lived and renew our relationships with them. Our kids had so much fun playing together, and we had so much fun visiting. We went to see the ocean, but it was way too cold to get in! There were a few crazy people in their swimsuits! It was the boys first time seeing the ocean and they loved it! We also drove to Vermont one day to see the birthplace of Joseph Smith. The drive was so beautiful! All the leaves were incredible reds, oranges, and yellows. It was so amazing. I am so glad we went! We had a wonderful time!

Skyler finally decides to WALK!!

Skyler has been taking steps for probably a month or more. We just could not get him to walk! Well, on Friday Aug 8 he decided to walk. He is very wobbly and puts his hands up or out, but he is WALKING!! Yea!! It's been hard to take him places because he wanted to crawl everywhere. I put some cute little church shoes on him today and he walked at church. It was so cute! He's so proud of himself that he claps at himself regularly. He's so much fun to have around. (Even though he screams out "MOM" every few seconds in public).

Uncle Seth goes into the MTC

Bryce picked up his brother Seth from the airport on Monday. He slept at our house Mon and Tues night. The boys loved having him around! He has always been so good to play with all his nieces and nephews. Joshua has always especially liked him.
We all went out to dinner at Golden Coral on Tues night. The food wasn't that great, and they didn't have their fresh rolls (bummer for me) but we still had a good time. I love spending time with my awesome in laws!
We took Seth to the MTC on Wed Aug 6 at 11:30am. I was so worried we were going to be late, so Bryce decided to go look at a couple houses before hand, just to show me he would still make it on time. We were on time, but I think it made Seth a little more nervous too. He just couldn't wait to get there. He's going to be an awesome missionary.

JOSHUA

Joshua is my oldest boy. He has such a good personality. He loves to be at home. Usually when I want to go somewhere he says, "I just want to stay home and play with Connor and my toys." He is interested in learning about everything. He asks me questions like, "Why do we need blood in our bodies? How does a phone work? Could you live if your hand got cut off? Why do we need oil in our car?" Those are a few examples. He is a creative child and really thinks about things. He loves building forts, playing outside, and playing with his little animals or action figures. He also loves our pet bunny, Lava. He is the one who named him. He is a very good brother to his two little brothers. He treats them
really well and is helpful to me. I really love my
Joshua.

CONNOR

Meet Connor Black. He is 2. Need I say more? He loves playing with Joshua. He is Joshua's little shadow. If Joshua is doing it, it must be cool. He loves guns, swords, sticks, cars, and anything Joshua tells him he wants or likes. He is the sweetest boy, but very emotional. His favorite thing to drink is chocolate milk. He loves all cereal. He eats other things pretty well, as long as Daddy feeds him every bite. He doesn't like taking naps, even though he still needs one. So, every few days he just crashes where ever he is. He just falls asleep, more commonly at the dinner table. He loves being read to loves his Nemo blanket. He also loves playing with Skyler, and crawling with him on the ground. He will come up to me randomly and say "Mom, you need to take a picture of me and Skyler while we are playing." He is always hugging him and kissing him and talking to him in a "baby" voice. It is very cute. He gets in these really funny moods where it doesn't matter what you say or do, he will throw a tantrum. It happens mostly when he is tired. He just can't make it when he is tired. Joshua usually just stares at him while he throws his tantrums. This makes it much worse.."I don't want Joshua to look at me!!" Even though it's not fun to hear the screaming, we have to laugh many times because, well, it's funny! I'm sure he will grow out of it soon. Who knows, maybe I will miss it? Overall Connor is a happy boy. We love having Connor in our family!

Skyler's on the GO!!

This is my little Skyler. Next month he will be ONE!! He is still very much a baby, but growing up too fast! He is the sweetest boy. He now crawls everywhere and is starting to get into everything. One thing he loves to do is to climb the stairs. He knows I don't want him to, and giggles when I catch him climbing there. He also loves taking baths and will fall in whenever he gets a chance. One time Joshua even turned on the water for him, clothes and all. What a good brother (and so Skyler thought)! He says Dad, Mom, Hi, uh oh, and tries to say other words. He loves his older brothers, Joshua and Connor. He can't wait to run and play with them. He also loves his Daddy. Daddy is the one who gets him out of bed every morning, changes his diaper, and takes care of him until Mommy is coherent. He loves to laugh, especially at his brothers. One of the things he eats the best is oatmeal. He is very picky, if he doesn't like the texture, he just spits it out. He loves playing in the dirt or the sand box. He also loves to chase our bunny and tries to grab him. One time he got his ears! He is such a happy addition to our family and we love him!!

About Me

I am so excited to have my own blog!! I have been having fun reading everyone Else's, so I finally broke down. I now have my own, so hopefully someone out there will enjoy looking at it.

I am the mother of 3 incredibly cute boys, and the wife of a wonderful husband. So, yes, I am the only girl in the house. I'm the only one who like to do my hair, wear make-up, and go shopping. My boys like to play with guns, swords, trucks, sticks, dirt, mud, super heroes, and they love wrestling. They are the joy of my life. I can't imagine my life without them.

I love to take care of all my boys, but when I find time I do have other hobbies I enjoy. I love to do gardening, sew, decorate, go on trips, read, scrapbook, paint, make jewelry, go thrift store shopping, snowboarding, camping, and many other things. I love more than anything to just spend time with my boys and my husband Bryce.
